Event Details

On 21 February 2026,

We are going to have a formal event setting that begins with an hour of social visiting, leading into a full course dinner meal only to be followed by  dancing to great music with a cash bar waiting to take your order. The night will also include a thank you speech from the Company Commander and First Sergeant followed by awards to acknowledge hardworking Soldiers who have demonstrated and exceeded the standards of the 126 Quartermaster Company!

Social Hour

Beginning at 1700 hours, enjoy a full 60 minutes of meeting new faces and engaging in conversations. Get to know the Soldiers, past and present, and learn what motivated them to choose the Illinois National Guard as their way of serving.

Get to know the leaders of the 126 Quartermaster and challenge yourself to learn something new about some of them! Meet the spouses of fellow Soldiers and create new friendships.

Dress Code

This formal event requires all active service members attending to wear the United States Army Service Uniform (AGSU / ASU). Civilian attendees are required to wear formal dress attire, including a formal suit and tie combination / below knee dresses.

Full Course Meal

We struck a pot of gold being catered by a local favorite, Tony's too! This restaurant that's centrally located within the venue that's hosting our event, is known for their dedication to provide their customers with the up-most service and a wide range of food options that makes it difficult to choose just one option!

Music, Dancing, Awards and More!

All attendees are warmly invited to take to the dance floor and enjoy the lively music, showcasing their dancing abilities. For those who prefer a different form of engagement and are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages, a cash bar will be conveniently located just outside the dance hall. Whether you choose to dance, indulge in meaningful conversations, or savor a glass of fine red wine, a diverse selection of music will provide the perfect ambiance throughout the evening. Please note that the music will pause briefly for the presentation of awards and remarks from the Company Commander and First Sergeant.

Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be available to purchase at the start of Social Hour and the drawing will be held immediately following the award presentations!

**Legal age to purchase and/or consume beverages containing alcohol is 21 in the United States. Every person attending the holiday ball under the legal age will receive a stamp on the left hand indicating they are underage and will be prohibited from purchasing or consuming any and all alcohol from the cash bar. All consumers will be instructed to show a valid ID to ensure legal drinking age to the bartender before a transaction can be completed.
